Safety Glass vs Toughened Glass
Many clients ask the difference between the types of safety glass offered. The easiest explanation is in your motor. Your front windshield is laminated safety glass, so stones and projectiles can’t come through. When damaged, the film “holds” the glass together. The glass in your side doors are toughened which have more strength from a front impact but if hit hard enough will shatter into little pieces. This is toughened or tempered glass.
